Allie is wife to Ian, mother to a 16 month old girl, and a phenomenal chef. Ian and Allie are integral parts to the Charlottesville community, specifically the food community.
Early Wednesday morning, March 1, 2017, while at work, Allie was involved in an accident. Her hand was caught in a meat grinder, and she was soon rushed to UVA Hospital. Unfortunately, the doctors were unable to save her hand and had to amputate her right hand up to her wrist.
We are raising money for the mounting medical expenses, the road to recovery for the Redshaws, and future prosthesis. Immediately, funds will allow the Redshaws some time and space to cope with this new reality and help pay for bills, therapy, childcare, cleaning, etc.
