Hi my friends. I am writing to ask of your support for one of my long time beautiful, humble, generous school besties, Donna Allan, and her amazing two sons, Campbell and Mackenzie, who I believe are up and coming BMX stars - and that I have no doubt one day we will see them competing in the Olympics!
They have been given an incredible opportunity to compete in the UCI BMX World Titles being held at Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA in July proudly representing Australia. I have taken it in my own hands to make this dream hopefully a reality for these boys!
For those of you who know Donna, would know that she would never ask for help off anyone …so that’s why I have chosen, along with some of our friends, to help make this dream come true for her boys …and once I told them that I wanted to do this there were blank looks of disbelief, then tears, then excitement…actually they were absolutely ecstatic …so please, let’s make this happen!
I don’t know much about BMX racing, but have seen Mackenzie and Campbell compete locally, and recently in Gladstone and it is just such an awe inspiring edge on the seat experience which thank god only lasts for 30 to 40 seconds… and I hope you all get to see this one day!
They have both competed all over Australia winning many titles and podiums, gaining selection in the National Rival team which help with their equipment costs, but still there is so many costs behind the scenes, travelling many weekends of the year. Campbell and Mackenzie live and just breathe BMX!
If you think you can help out please feel free to donate as little or as generous as you can, and Campbell and Mackenzie I am sure will do everything to make you all proud for supporting their dreams, and allowing them this incredible opportunity to compete in the USA.
