For those of you that don't know Adalyn's story, we had a healthy pregnancy, she was thriving and growing as expected. Adalyn was born at full term and a healthy weight. During birth she was unable to pass through the birth canal and was stuck there for 3 hours. As a result Adalyn became stressed and suffered Meconium Aspiration and was without oxygen for an unknown amount of time causing severe brain damage. A cesarean section was not given. When Adalyn was finally born she was not breathing and blue in color. Adalyn was immediately taken to the Children's Hospital where she received Neonatal Therapeutic Hypothermia Treatment, She was resuscitated twice within the first two days of life. she was on life support for almost a month and doctors even considers pulling the plug, but we were not ready to give up on her that easy because in our time of trama and chaos God surrounded us with his presence and told me " do not worry, she will be okay", we were not able to hold her for the first 7 days of her life or feed her for the first month. Adalyn was initially diagnosed with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy(lack of oxygen to brain), microcephaly(small head), seizure disorder and now in addition has been diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy(muscle disorder that effects all four limbs). all are incurable but with intensive therapy can improve ones quality of life.

Adalyn is qualified for a 6 week intensive therapy treatment at the NAPA Center in California and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This would greatly improve her quality of life as Adalyn does not have proper use of any of her limbs. She will also be be screened within the month for the Gastrostomy Button (G-Button) which will provide her the nourishment her body is lacking to thrive. There are numerous types of therapy available to Adalyn that will improve her overall quality of life and life span that we would have to go out of pocket for due to denial or locations not excepting insurance. Please consider donating any amount that you can to support her through her life long journey that only just begun. Adalyn deserves the most in life and we believe that through Christ and unity nothing is impossible. May God bless each every person who has prayed for Adalyn and shared their love with her.
