Tim recently went in the hospital for routine knee surgery.
While in recovery he suffered a stroke paralyzing the left side of his body.
Please donate what you can to help Tim and his Wife Dee Dee out during this difficult time. Most of all they need our prayers and healing thoughts sent their way!

I found out today that he will get to come home Monday! That means he will get 4 more days of therapy which is great news! I'm going to have Thanksgiving lunch and dinner with him tomorrow and spend the day with him. We have been working on the house since Sat to get the house arranged and ready. Thanks so much for your help. Joey, Eddie and Josh built a ramp for him and fixed a leak in the bathroom! Bryan is changing the shower head to put a sprayer on it and a new drain. I've
had people blowing leaves, making me get rid of things I didn't need that was in the bedroom that he will use. Someone even cleaned my refrigerator! it's been a long and tiring week but as long as he can get around on the walker we are good. Thank you so much for your support and prayers. The prayers have worked on his body and the support has helped stay on top of the bills for now. After December 31st you guys at Siemens know what happens with insurance. We start all over but meeting deductibles and out of pocket first but God will see to our needs. We have been blessed with some of the greatest friends in the world! God bless and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Mallory, Bryan and I went for a family therapy visit to see how Tim is doing with therapy. Many of you may have seen the video our daughter posted
It was incredible at how far he has come. He still has a long way to go unfortunately. He can move his left leg and foot but he doesn't really feel it. He is not bending his knee on his left when he walks and was putting his weight on the right side of the Walker which made the left side come of the floor. But still he walked all the way around the room with is 150ft without having to rest!! They are working with him on ways to get into a car, on and off of the bed and into the bathroom. He still has no control over his left hand. We have to place it on the Walker. His brain still hasn't reset itself to recognize his left side yet but he really surprised us yesterday. We don't know if he will come home next week or he will get to stay another week. Obviously, we want him home but if the insurance grants him another full week of the aggressive therapy he is getting at the center that would be awesome. The first 6 months is critical for rehab. After that improvement only comes a little here and there. Please pray that he will be able to stay 2 more weeks and that he will continue to make these big improvements! They push him there. At home it will be up to him and that is hard to do unless someone else stays on you to do it! Thank you again for everything. Tim has an awesome bunch of people in his life!!

Update on Tim,
He will probably be coming home next Friday. They say that he is making incredible progress but he doesn't think so. We are going to have a family therapy session tomorrow to help us learn how to help continue his rehabilitation and how to help him when he gets home. He is extremely depressed although he is on an anti-depression drug. It may just hasn't kicked in yet or he needs a higher dose. Please keep praying and help me keep his spirits up. I told him that he had so many great friends and he said he knew that!! Thanks everyone for your prayers, help, visits and support!!! We are extremely grateful!!

Tim goes to see Dr Blackstock in the morning. Hopefully will get the Staples out! The case worker is going to try to get him another week at the rehab center but she said when he comes home he will have to have round the clock care! Seriously, how do you manage that when everyone but his mom-in-law has a job and she can't help get him up unless he improves another 70% before then!!! But it's all up to the insurance company. please pray they will give him more time where there are people who can help him better with the equipment and weights, etc. if they come here they won't have all those things. God has got this and thank you all for your prayers and friendship. We are truly blessed and God will work it all out!!
