On 9th June 2016 at 11:33am, the world lost a truly amazing individual. Alfie Rose was a charismatic, energetic, confident and loving boy who had time for absolutely everybody - he really was everyone's friend.
This page has been created to raise money to give Alfie the send-off he truly deserves. Any contribution at all would be greatly appreciated, and would help to make his last goodbye one to be treasured by his family, his girlfriend and his friends - as well as anybody else who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Alfie suffered from hydrocephalus from birth. His family did not know whether he would make it, but Alfie being the fighter he was pulled through. Believing he had overcame the condition, he partied, he worked, he caused trouble, he loved and he laughed. Alfie had an extraordinarily positive impact on people around him, as well as a desire and determination to help and support those who needed it. Tragically, the relief he had from hydrocephalus was not permanent. In spring 2016 Alfie started to become ill again and got progressively worse - leading to the untimely death of this brave young boy at the age of just seventeen.
Alfie was charming, cheeky, loyal, kind and would do anything for anybody. He was stylish and unique. It was these qualities that made everybody who met Alfie fall in love with him.
Love defined Alfie.
It is impossible to convey the hole that has been left by his sudden passing. As his departure came at such a young age, his family had made no provisions for this tragic event and they cannot afford the funeral alone. This page has been created in the hope that those who knew and loved Alfie or wish to offer support to his family could give anything at all in order to help give him the send off that he truly deserves.
The pain and grief that Kim (Afie's mum), Gary (Alfie's Dad) April (Alfie's twin sister), Connor and Rhianon (Alfie's siblings) his Grandfather, his Girlfriend (Aimee) and friends are feeling is inconceivable. Even donating a couple of pounds could make the world of difference in making this painful process more bearable.
I am aiming to receive all donations by the 17th of June 2016 in order to get them to the family and help to start proceedings.
On Behalf of all the family, any help (money or otherwise), would mean the world to them.
