Alex's SA Missions Trip

Hi Everyone! I'm so thrilled to have the opportunity to go to Johannesburg, South Africa with a Missions team from Brushy Creek Baptist Church this September 16-25th, 2016. This is something I've had on my heart for a while now, to go out and bring God's love into different areas of the world.
This trip is a combination of outreach ministry and medical missions. In addition to sharing the gospel, we'll be providing physical therapy and basic medical care to the community. We are partnering with Women of Worth, a ministry whose purpose is providing job skills training and other community needs through God's word and love. https://www.facebook.com/WOWjoburg/
Part of my job will be helping to provide sexual education training to the community. South Africa has the highest prevalence of HIV/AIDS compared to any other country in the world, with 5.6 million people living with HIV, and 270,000 HIV related deaths in 2011.
The financial balance of this trip is due by August 1st. The money will be used for plane tickets and other traveling expenses. Our team will be staying on site at a sister church in Johannesburg.
