Alex's Brain Matters!!!

Friends, Family and well-wishers, 

Three weeks ago my family received terrible news.  My nephew, Alex was diagnosed with another brain tumor. This new tumor is a Germinoma (Malignant/cancer).  The doctors were able to remove about 50-70% of it.  The next step is radiation therapy.  There are 2 types of radiation therapy, proton and photon.  We are not sure which one Alex will receive.   Please keep Alex in your prayers.  We are hoping to help ease some of the burden of the medical expenses that will be coming in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  

 A little history,.....
I said another because; in 2005 a large tumor was discovered on Alex’s brain.  He was rushed into surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain from hydrocephalus (swelling/fluid) then 7 days later he had a tumor resection to remove a mature teratoma tumor.  The tumor was in the pineal region of the brain.  It was successfully removed.   Alex was on the mend, he had some set-backs and problems, renal failure, had to learn to walk and talk again, but Alex is a strong determined kid!
