Alexis Arellano Memorial Fund

This past weekend we all lost a very special young man, Fermin "Alexis" Arellano.  Alexis has made an impact on so many people in his young life, with his contagious smile and kind spirit.  Alexis attended AC Moore Elementary, Hand Middle and most recently Dreher High School.  Alexis loved soccer!  Our soccer boys loved Alexis! 
My son, Cody Bach, is just one of the many students greatly effected by Alexis's death.  Cody and Alexis and been friends since first grade and have played soccer together for several years.  I think I speak for a lot of us soccer moms in saying that Alexis was part of our family!  Lots of us took him home from soccer practice or out of town to soccer tournaments.  I always remember the boys giggling in the back seat, usually because Alexis had a way of always making people laugh.
During this very difficult time, we would like to set up a way for all of Alexis's friends to raise money to help his family with funeral costs.  We are asking for donations, no donation is too small, to show our support to Alexis's family and to help them pay for his unexpected passing.  His family has five other children ranging in age from toddlers to a freshman at Clemson.
This fundraiser means so much to me because it shows our kids how a community can come together in the face of such a tragedy to do something good.  Thank you so much.  Your support for the Arellano family is great appreciated.
