Alexandria funeral

I am reaching out to help my daughter because my only granddaughter, Alex died yesterday.

Alex had Rett's Syndrome causing my daughter to devote her time entirely to her care rather than placing her in a home. She was paid to care for Alex saving the state money on nursing home expenses.

Alex struggled with seizures, being non-verbal, and unable to care for any of her needs including feeding and toileting.

Alex made it to 27 with tender care of Kim. She waged a battle make sure she was cared for with great doctors who learned along with the family what this strange genetic disorder would do to her.
Kim was unable to work outside the home because she never knew when Alex would need to be home because of illness.
Funds are tight for her and I'm retired so I am not much help anymore.

Now because Kim has no training being out of the job market for 30 years, she will have a huge reduction in what comes in to live. She needs $5000 to be able to pay her part of the funeral expenses.

We are asking for help so she doesn't start out in debt before she starts looking for work.
 

All funds from this fundraiser will go to Alex"s funeral!
