My 1st born daughter Alessia Yolanda Thompson was born March 27, 1990.
Alessia was in a roll over car accident on March 28, 2018 at 3:10 AM  going West on Palmdale(Route 18) close to Caughlin the police were notified. Alessia is #??? having an accident on Palmdale.  She was ejected from the car. At 3:44 or so she was air lifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center. At 4:30 AM Rialto police department notify my family I Laura was  in a roll over car accident flown to Loma Linda and I was the passenger in the car.  At 5:30 my baby brother came to my house to get my mom & daughter Alessia but instead he got me because I wasn’t in the accident. Alessia once arrived to the hospital she had internal bleeding. They rushed her to the OR. She came out of surgery at 6:30-7 AM they left her stomach open just put gaze over the open incision. She was placed on a Ventilator because both lungs collapsed. Alessia injuries were fractured Skull, Fractured clavicle right, Fractured ribs bilateral, brain swollen, small bleed to her brain, 3 tears to spleen & liver, bilateral lung collapsed.  On March 28 Alessia started to run a fever. Myself & Alessia sister Angelenna identify it was Alessia not me as they assumed. March 29, 2018 Alessia went back to the operating room to see if her liver & spleeen stop bleeding. Alessia Spleen did but Alessia liver received permanent damage. They close 2 part of her stomach but left her skin open to pack it twice a day with gaze. They closed her right skull fractures. March 30-April 3, 2018 Alessia failed each test to take her off the ventilator. April 3, 2018 they did a broncolization test it showed Alessia lungs can’t breath on there own. April 3, 2018 they did a 4 hour MRI of Alessia brain which showed Her brain was healing remarkably. Still swollen but not as much from March 28,29, 30, 2018. April 4, 2018 Dr. Chang wanted to take Alessia off the ventilator to see if she can breath on her own.  Alessia since March 28-April 4, 2018 was suffering & suffocating every time she moved. April 3, 2018 Alessia had to start antibiotics because she formed pneumonia in both lungs.  April 4, 2018 at 2:03 PM Dr. Chang pulled Alessia off the machine.  Alessia didn’t do good at all. She pulled the oxygen off her so they had to put a BI Pap on her. Alessia was suffocating & suffering every minute and hour. She said HELP,, MOM, STOP. I wanted to have faith she just needed time. Hope she would get better. They couldn’t keep her comfortable at all because she wasn’t on the ventilator they couldn’t sedate her. They could only give her medicine and if that drop her blood pressure than she had to get another medication to make her blood pressure go up. Alessia was suffering so bad it was day 2 of her crying. Day 1 was April 3 on Ventilator now Day 2 April 4 on Bi Pap. I told her she has the will power to leave and go be with God she doesn’t have to stay. I will be okay. She doesn’t have to suffer anymore let God will be done I accept it. At 12:30 Dr. Chang said she is suffering and She can make her comfortable. Alessia sister Angelenna,Carmen came back to the hospital we agree to make her comfortable and to not have anymore pain. April 5, 2018 at 3:22 AM Alessia Yolanda Thompson took her last breath. 3:26 AM she flat line on the screen.  I stayed for 20 more minuets I left before the doctor declared her dead I didn’t need to see it. I’m not a fan of Loma Linda University Medical Center and now I have even more reasons why. My daughter suffer for 9 days 8 nights. They should have never taken her off when they did. I couldn’t allow them to  re-intubate her again her wrist were black & blue from them restraining her. My daughter had three male roommates and no privacy none.  As Alessia mom you want to protect shield and only 1 nurse  cared for Alessia privacy how horrible is that to watch as a mom.
Right now I can’t give my daughter her send off because I’m a single mom who myself off work due to medical reason. Please find it in your heart & soul to donate. I can’t do anything without public help.
Thank you
