On Saturday February 11, 2017 our lives were changed forever. Someone very important in our lives, a young man named Alec Zavala was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver Cancer. At only 17 years of age Alec is facing the biggest fight of his life and he needs everyone’s support. We know that by standing together and uniting to fight against this, we can conquer it.
His friends and family will go to any extent needed to get what he needs, but sometimes even that is not enough. It’s never easy asking for help, but in times like this we need to learn to do so, because every bit of the support received will make a huge difference in Alec’s recovery.
Other families out there, who have been through similar situations, understand that in situations like this, not only the family is affected emotionally but also economically.
