Almost died but thankful to be alive

My name is Christina and I never thought I'd need to do this but here I am sitting next to my husband Jeff  in the ICU, 21 days from being induced asking for some help. 
Jeff went quading Thanksgiving morning with some friends while I was at work. We played phone tag throughout the day between him having service and my breaks. Last we talked he was having a great time and going to be headed home early to start Thanksgiving dinner. I was on my last break when I saw I missed 3 calls from him. As I was trying to call him back and couldn't get a hold of him my LC came to tell me he was in an accident and his mom was here. I didn't want to believe it- I mean I just talked to him and he was fine, in good health, and happy. Then Carol came behind my LC and that's when I knew it was serious. After he got to the hospital and into a room we found out he broke 5 ribs, fractured his pelvis and hip, punctured his lung and kidney. We are very lucky and thankful he isn't in worse condition. I've been staying postive and trying not to stress about what's to come but the reality is we will both be out of work for 3 months with a newborn while he recovers and far from being ready. I know we will make it through this difficult time one way or another but hope with your donation it won't be as hard.
