My 16 year old son, Beto,  has an opportunity to go to Australia for cross country being held by DownUnder Sports.  He is a great runner and enjoys cross country. He aslo loves Australia. Though we work full time, the cost is a lot to come up with.  I am asking anyone and everyone to please help make this trip happen for Beto.  This is his 2nd year running cross country, and by the end of his first year, he was top 5 best runners. He is a great kid, gets good grades, and will be the first person in his family to travel to Australia. He will also be representing California on his trip.
 He will be in Australia for 10 days, and He will compete in 2 races, 5.7 k and 5k. The funds need to be paid no later than May 2018. the purchase includes 2 meals a day, (he will need money to buy his lunches for the 10 days). He is super excited about this opportunity and hope together we can help reach his goal. One parent is able to travel with him but it is not neccesary so I hope by working together we can get him on his way. Thank you for your time to read this.

The total cost of the trip is $4699. plus a $200 travel insurance and purchase of a passport and funds for his lunch for the 10 days hes in Australia. (Dinner and breakfast included in cost)
