Ajale's College Fund

Ajale McCray is a currently a high school senior at Fuquay Varina High School located in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina. Her current academic GPA is  3.4 on a scale of 4.0.  It has been Ajale's goal to become the first person in our family to obtain her Nursing Degree. Upon obtaining her degree, it is her desire to work at a community health center to provide services to low income families in order to give back to her community. Ajale has volunteered within her community since middle school,  helping with the school programs such as  (Teen Day) and also assisting with local church missions in the community. Ajale has been awared perfect attendance every year since elementary school and has also been awarded both the Principal's and A/B honor rolls at school.  Ajale has recently been awarded the  Kappa Scholar which is bestowed upon high school displaying exemplary academic standards throughout their high school years.  Ajale has also completed the Certified Nursing Assistant certification program at Wake Technical Community College. Her goal is to work as either a Community or Traveling Nurse to assist the low income citizens with rural and poverty-stricken communities with little access to medical care.  Ajale has been accepted to Barry University located in Miami, Florida in the Fall 2017, but even with the financial assistance that she has received from the institution, she is still in need of financial assistance to cover other expenses associated with books, meal plans, school activities, laboratory fees, and other tuition related costs. This Go-Fund Me account will assist Ajale with paying for those expenses and will ensure that she is able to excel acadmeically without the burden of student loans which lead to personal debt. Please assist Ajale with any financial assistance that you can to ensure that she will be successful both academically and financially at Barry University in the Fall of 2017.
