Aixa's Fight

On April 11th, 2019, the unthinkable touched me and my family. This April morning, I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Carcinoma (Lung Cancer). My world had crumbled in a matter of seconds. Many questions  arose from that ugly and unthinkable diagnosis." What will I do? What will happen with my youngest son? My Lord, you've given me a child with special needs, he needs me. Lord, you know I'm taking care of my mom, what will happen with her?" These and many other questions have been lingering in my mind. My dear ones and all the people who know me, know that I am the sole provider in my household. It has become really hard for me to continue accomplishing my responsibilities at home and paying for my treatment. My medical insurance covers most of the treatment, however, I am left with all the co-pays for doctors, studies, and medications.  Knowing how hard it is nowadays with the economy, I approach you with a sincere and honest heart to ask for your help. No amount is too little. If you find in your heart the wish of helping me, please, do so. You can also help me by sharing my story. I will humbly and whole heatedly appreciate it. Blessed be!

El 11 de abril de 2019, lo impensable me tocó a mí y mi familia. Esa mañana de abril fui diagnosticada con Small Cell Carcinoma (Cancer de pulmón), Etapa 4. Mi mundo se derrumbó en cuestión de segundos. Muchas preguntas surgieron de ese feo e impensable diagnóstico. " Qué voy a hacer?, Qué va a pasar con mi niño menor? Mi Dios, me has dado un niño con necesidades especiales, él me necesita. Mi Señor, tu sabes que estoy cuidando de mi Madre, qué pasará con ella?  Estas y muchas otras preguntas han estado dando vueltas en mi Mente. Mis queridos y todos los que me conocen saben que soy el único proveedor en mi hogar. Ya está siendo demasiado fuerte para mí el cumplir con las responsabilidades del hogar y pagar por mi tratamiento. Mi seguro médico cubre la mayor parte pero aún así tengo deducibles muy altos de médicos, estudios y medicamentos. Sé que la economía esta difícil, aún así, me acerco con un corazón sincero y honesto a pedir su ayuda. Ninguna cantidad es demasiado pequeña. Si encuentras en tu corazón el deseo de ayudarme, por favor, házlo. Tambien puedes ayudarme compartiendo mi historia. Yo humildemente y con todo mi corazón, te lo agradeceré. Bendecidos sean!
