Cinema Trips for Autistic Adults

Donation protected
Autistic Inclusive Meets is an autistic-run non-profit organisation based in Greenwich, SE London and the surrounding areas. Our mission is to enable families with autistic children and autistic individuals to get out into the community and socialise in an accepting inclusive environment with like minded peers.

As part of that we want to organise and fund regular cinema trips for autistic adults. Your donations will help cover the costs of transportation and tickets.

We plan to offer these trips once a month, for up to ten adults (and their carers where required). It would be great if we could start the trips as soon as possible, but for us to do that we need your help.

The target we have set will allow us to run these trips for a whole year, but we can start the ball rolling as soon as we hit about 10%, so please help us by donating and sharing this campaign. Every penny and every share helps us to help autistic people in our community.

AIM was launched in 2016 by Emma Dalmayne, campaigner for autistic rights, autistic mother of autistic children, and author of two books about autism, ‘It’s An Autism Thing I’ll Help You Understand It’ and ‘Susie Spins’. Emma is the CEO of AIM and runs the weekly playgroup for autistic children.

Alex Forshaw is an autistic parent of an autistic daughter and a member of AIM's Board of Trustees.
