Moving Forward for Pets
Since 1998, AHP has been providng no-kill options through our many life-saving services & programs and working with special needs pets. With the rising number of loving pets left homeless or lacking medical care, we will be relocating our facility and expanding our service area in order to reach those most in need.
The next few months will be challening for us, not only are we in the midst of our annual campaign that provides funding in order for us to continue all of our animal-welfare programs, at the same time we will be packing and moving to transition into our new building. We know this will be a challenge for us as there is so much work to be done, thankfully we have a very dedicated team of volunteers. Many who have offered to work long hours, even through the holidays, in order to complete our transition. When we get exhausted and overwhlemed, it is your support that will help us keep going. Just knowing you are as passionate about saving lives as we are makes all the difference.
A portion of our campaign will make funds avaiable to off-set the cost of the move and renovations, allowing us to complete evertyhing in a timely fashion and avoid interuptions in our services that we provide to the most loving and affectionate pets.
We hope you will help us in making this a 'smooth move' by generously giving to our combined "Moving Forward for Pets" & annual campaign.
As a 501 (c) (3) registerd organzation, your generous gift is tax deductible. Please support those who can't speak for themselves, by giving the pets the GIFT of LIFE this holiday season.
With time being short, the pets URGENTLY need your help to reach their GOAL!
Thank you for sharing a piece of your heart with pets in need!

Over the last 15 years A Helping Paw has faced many struggles to ensure we will always be here to help the pets. Our dedicated people have a sheer passion for all animals, especially those less often able to find help.
We are now in our final weeks at our current location. While our new re-sale shop is near completion thanks to so very many volunteers who have given their time. We had hoped to have a new building to move to immediately, and while we have several possibilities, sadly we've fallen short on funding preventing us from securing one of these wonderful opportunities.
Traditionally we could hold a major fundraiser to aid us, but the move alone has taken all of our time. As you know any move is very exhausting and time consuming add to that setting up an entire new shop. We are extremely proud of all the efforts supplied by our volunteers and volunteer directors that have made this such a focus of their lives all to benefit the pets.
And to be expected we've lost near $4,000 in sales thru our shop because of the move. This was an expected part of the transition, but just another challenge we must face.
We'd like to thank all of you who have already shown your kind and generous support. We hope more will join us and show their support of all the great work A Helping Paw has done over the last 15 yrs and help us raise the $6,000 needed to secure a local facility to move to before the end of Feb.
While all of our programs will continue uninterrupted one way or another, having a home-base will make it possible to provide even more services and help those pets in most urgent need.
We thank you all for your kindness and compassion towards our pet friends. Every pet we help, changes a LIFE forever. It's the most precious gift we can give. And in return we are given the knowledge that their is new hope and brightness in their eyes, deeper purrs and happier waggin tails.
And all our wonderful donors are helping them reach their goal. Still a ways to go, but with your kindness we can help get them there!
