Angel is a beautiful 11 year old child who has had a heart condition since his earlier years (cardiomyopathy). His younger brother and sister also have the same heart condition.
Angel has suffered multiple strokes and had a heart transplant when he was just 2 years old. He was hospitalized over 1 month ago due to the rejection of this transplant. He is now on the waiting list for his second heart transplant and will need to stay hospitalized due to his fragile condition.
Angel's mother is a single parent and could use the financial support to pay medical bills and keep up with rent. She is caring for Angel daily at the hospital while trying to maintain care for her other two children.
