The Texas A&M University Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity has partnered with the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas in a philanthropic event in an effort to raise money as well as awarness of Epilepsy.
The Epilepsy Foundation of Texas not only is a great organization, but it is one that we personally believe in. This past month we gained a brother in Peter De Jong who has had Epilepsy since a very young age. Peter is not able to continue his education at the collegiate level due to Epilepsy, but this does not keep him from being an active brother in our chapter. This inspired us to partner with the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas, the same way Peter inspired us.
Our philanthropic event will be taking place on Sunday, February 19th, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. at the Wolf Pen Creek Park in College Station, Texas. We realize that not everyone will be able to attend this event, but would still like to contribute by giving a donation to a worthy organization.
All of the proceeds from this GoFundMe and our philanthropy event will go directly to the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas. Representatives from the Epilepsy Foundation will be present at the event and will have flyers and other information on how to get involved.
We hope that you will either join us or donate to what we wholeheartedly belive to be a worthy organization of yours and our support.
