Northwest Compass helps our neighbors in need in the Northwest Suburbs turn crisis into opportunity by providing  housing, stabilization and empowerment services for the homeless, hungry and heroes in our community.  We strive to foster personal responsibility for those who are vulnerable and help them achieve independence. 

All of our services are free of charge and we offer housing counseling and assistance, food pantry, career coaching, money management, legal assistance, assistance in applying for food stamps and medicaid, transitional living and permanent supportive housing programs, youth services, street outreach and more.

Northwest Compass is able to reach a large amount of people and assist them in their times of crisis. In doing so, we are in desperate need of a van. For the past 18 years, we have depended on our van to pick up  food, deliver food to veterans and schools, transport clients experiencing homelessness and in need of housing, participate in local food drives, and so much more! Unfortunately, our van has seen better days and it is becoming impossible to use it for providing these services.
