Book Club for Students

Hi,

I am Angera Bolton and I am an educator in the Atlanta Public Schools System. I have worked in the school system for about 3 years and I still have a lot to learn. I love educating and mentoring students. I am a 3rd grade educator. I also tutor 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. I teach and tutor over 50 students each day.  Students need the necessary resources and continued support in order to effectively succeed. One necessary resource students need are books. Most of the students I teach and mentor do not like reading. It is my belief they do not like reading because the books which are available  do not appear relatable. I plan to build a library of Afrocentric books for the young scholars I encounter everyday. Please help me in building an Afrocentric library for students. Your support would be greatly appreciated!
