Afghanistan Puppy Rescue

I’m deployed in Afghanistan. We found this dog on the helicopter landing zone near our outstation. Her mother and sister were both killed from gunshot wounds. We brought her to the outstation, named her Soxi and took care of her. I’m trying to bring her to the states. The cost is anywhere from $3,500 to $5,000 and I need to raise the remaining $1,500 to get her home. An organization that helps soldiers rescue dogs is helping to get her back to the U.S. She’s a great dog and I want to give her a good life in the states.
