Blink - The Mental Health Campaign
Donation protected
Blink - The Mental Health Campaign is a not-for-profit on the way to becoming a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation in England & Wales.
We aim to offer rapid professional and peer support for mental health conditions, when people need it most. Especially when the NHS and other services have let people down.
Over 700,000 people referred to the NHS's Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) receive receiving little (only one session) or no help at all *
Shockingly to count as finishing treatment a referral must involve more than two treatment appointments – so the circa 40% of people who received treatment could only have had two treatment sessions.
We want to be disruptive, supportive, and accessible. But we need your help.
We have just received £8,000 lottery to help set up our safeguarding and referal processes, so all money raised will go directly to help grow our campaign and raise awareness of mental ill health
The video on this page is of Mike's story (co-founder of blink), and touches upon the pain and difficulties he's endured with mental health, and the NHS.
Please help us reach our goal, so that we can start making a difference.
