Kathleen Ann Kenneally works at the Courtyard by Marriott Raynham, MA and I cannot say enough about this woman! She is a powerhorse in the Laundry Room but one of the most sweetest people I have EVER met! She is so kind to so many and prior to finding out she was diagnosed with Stage III Rectal Cancer, she was fighting so many other battles. She was in a near death car accident a few years ago & her body is literally held together by pins and rods. How she walks and stands all day is beyond me, never mind with a SMILE! Please consider giving up a latte or 2 and donating to help her out while she battles this HORRIBLE disease. God Bless You ALL! xo
Her prognosis isn’t great and she has begun a rigorous Chemotherapy & Radiation Treatment for the next 5 to 6 weeks. After her treatment, she will undergo surgery to remove the mass. After surgery, her chemotherapy treatment will start up again for an indefinite period of time.
During her treatment, surgery & recovery, Kathleen will be unable to work which means she has NO income coming in! She is also 100% reliant on others for rides to her treatments which take place 5 days per week.
Not only is this tough on Kathleen and her family, it is also tough on the hotel. Kathleen is a very valuable asset to the Team in Raynham. In fact, last year, she was awarded “Employee of the Year” at this hotel. Some of you have heard me mention Kathleen as the “associate who runs the best laundry room in the company!”
At the very least, promise me you will keep Kathleen & her family in your prayers.
