Foysol is a 28 year old man who is the only source of income for his family. He comes from a very poor Bangladeshi background and his family have been dependant on him to provide for them since a young age. Since losing the function of both of his kidneys and thus suffering from this debilitating illness, this man has been bed bound in hospital for months. He is unable to do anything and is enduring physical and mental pain in this state. His workplace has terminated his employment due to his illness as he is no longer of any use to them and this has made things incredibly harder for him as he does not receive any support whatsoever.
Thus far, Foysol has been receiving small donations from his close friends and family, however this has been inadequate as the friends and family he is surrounded by can only donate to a certain extent.
At present, both of Foysols Kidneys are not functioning and this has had huge repercussions on his health and wellbeing. Currently he has been in hospital for a few months now which is costing him 43,000 taka (£430) solely for bed rent. This entails having to undergo dialysis twice a week which costs a further 5000 taka (approximately 50 british pounds) per session until he finds a successful donor. However it doesn't stop here, once Foysols has found a compatible match for his kidney transplant, a further cost of 16,00000 taka (approximately £16,000) will be required for the transplantation procedure to take place. Following this procedure, Foysol will have to be under medical supervision and check ups for a further two years in which he will still not be fit and able to work and will still be reliant on his family.
