Cremation for a family member

Lynn Letson was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. I can not express what she has always meant to me and those around her. She was one of the most knowledgable people I've ever known. She has always been a true artist. Be it beadwork, painting, crochet, tattooing, writing, sewing, or dancing, she gave it her all.

She suffered a massive heart attack over a week ago. She was deprived of oxygen too long while efforts were made to revive her and she suffered extreme brain damage. Her two children were forced to make the decision to take her off of life support. And now they are faced with the burden of funeral preparations. She simply wanted to be cremated. But the average cost of cremation is still very expensive for her two children. Her oldest son is disabled and unable to work. And her youngest son is a new father who is struggling to support his small family already. We are all devastated by this tragedy. And we just want to do right by her. 

EDIT: We found a place that is considerably cheaper than the $3,000 that was originally our goal/price of cremation. That is why the goal has been lowered.
