Donate and help the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation raise the money needed for a FREE SPAY AND NEUTER DAY and new humane traps for feral cats.
The Southampton Animal Shelter launched it's new TNR program called "Advo-Cats " this year. We are here to assist our Southampton communities in order to reduce and maintain the feral cat population.
This universal TNR program is humane and fosters compassion in our communities. Our mission is to reduce the population of unwanted free roaming cats through our Advo-Cats spay/neuter program while educating the public. We provide spay/neuter operations & rabies vaccinations to help keep our feral cat population under control and healthy.
TNR = Trap, Neuter and Release. Feral cats are Trapped in humane cat traps and transported to our shelter where they are
Neuter/spayed and vaccinated. After they recover, they are then Released back to where they were caught.
Advo-cats also cares for
homeless kittens and helps friendly strays find homes. By trapping the mothers & the fathers through TNR, thereby decreasing the population one area at a time.
Together we can help reduce the population by spaying/neutering and improve the lives of our community’s cats!!
