Adoremus: Eucharistic Worship Album

“The Son of Man has come to seek out and save that what was lost.” (Luke 19 vs. 10)

Today, He still comes in search for us so that we may know His mercy and love.

We should ask ourselves: ‘Do I believe that He comes in search of me and if so, what am I going to do about it?’

If we walk the streets of London, Paris, New York, Melbourne, etc., what do we see?  One can observe emptiness, pain and often sadness.  The usual reaction to our emptiness is to consume and usually we consume that which is not life giving.  The medicine to this emptiness is goodness, beauty and truth itself.  

Many people have yet to meet the love and mercy of God as celebrated in the sacraments.  People need to meet the love, the joy and the mercy that is Jesus.  As Christians, we have a responsibility to help those people and we start to help by telling them that they are loved by Jesus unconditionally.  We tell them not only how to receive that love, but to give that love back in return.  

The Adoremus album will explore these themes.  In addition to Sacred Scripture, this contemporary, Eucharistic worship album will draw upon the writings of St. Mother Theresa, St. Claude de la Columbière,  St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, St. John of the Cross, St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Alphonsus Liguori.

This album will not only be a light amongst music produced in today’s culture, it will also serve the Church and its mission at Mercy Nights, Night Fever, in supporting our schools, parishes, preparing the faithful for the Eucharistic Congress and keep the flame burning afterwards as well as a jewel of hope for those looking for answers to ‘Who am I? What do I desire? & What is going on?’

The funds will be used for the following:

- Recording, mixing & mastering 14 tracks

- Musicians and instrumentalists 

- Design and artwork

- Studio costs

- Printing, packaging and distribution

Thankfully we received a small donation to start the project and we will release the single ‘Adoremus’ next week, May 13th.  We hope the single will give glory to God and lead souls closer to Him as they encounter Him in Adoration.  

Your support will mean that we can share the great treasure of Eucharistic Adoration through the beauty of music with the whole world.  To sing of the beauty which is before us, a beauty which transforms hearts, a beauty to set the world on fire with a burning love for God.  God who so loved the world that He gave His only Son.  On the cross is what He did for us then, in the Eucharist is what He is doing for us now.
