HELP A VETERAN
The world relied on them, now they rely on us...
Adopt-A-Vet is a Non-Profit organization in Canada that is aimed at ensuring the veterans never feel forgotten. Many of the veterans have oulived family and friends, and are now left alone, and especially over the holidays this can get extreemly lonely.
Adopt-A-Vet raises money to be able to visit many of these veterans (Campaign picture above is of one of the veterans we visited this past christmas) bringing them gifts, and spending time with them over the holidays, showing them that they ar not forgotten.
In addition to the holidays, we want to make sure that their memories live on, and their amazing stories do not fall forgotten. To make this happen we have partnered with the safety village in Windsor, and we will be constructing a scale version of the armouries, that will have an interactive display. This display will allow all the families that visit the Safety Village to learn of the local heroes. Knowing this is something being done makes them all feel great, as they know that even long after they are gone, their stories will be told.
To raise money we run events through the year, that are aimed at getting the community involved more, and aware of what we do. slowly we are making this happen. The organization hopes tha tthis campaign will help a little in getting us to where we need to be.

Picture above is from the first annual Hockey Day in Canada that was held in Windsor Ontario. The Army took on the Navy where the Navy was victorious this year. These are the types of events we run to bring the community together and raise some money for this worthy cause. Adopt-A-Vet does everything possible to get our name out there, so if you have anyone that is looking to help out please pass this on to them and have them contact us.
