Donation protected
This article explains how i ended up out west, i,d worked on a sheep station out there years ago and decided to go and meet these strong exhusted farmers, i now feel like family. HELP A' COME BY CHANCE' FARMER.......
NOTHING IN LIFE IS BY CHANCE.
Theses tough hard working men and women from this small , flat very bloody dry, out back community desperately needs your help. They are physically and emotionally exhausted.
Come by Chance ..............60 km east of Walgett, NSW. 700km from the coast
Large sheep and cattle properties with lots of dirt , dust, more dust and dirt and some VERY hungry animals.
7 summers with little rain
3 years with not enough rain for crops
2 years with next to NO RAIN.
YES, HAND FEEDING ANIMALS FOR TWO YEARS .[ other drought areas only a few months, without rain]
Some animals have NEVER seen grass.
Theses guys ARE NT very good at asking for help or even acknowledging how badly this drought is effecting them physically and emotionally.
THEY NEED YOUR SUPPORT NOW,
PLEASE WOULD YOU HELP US with $$$$$$$ to get some DONATED GOOD QUALITY HAY FROM AN AWESOME FAMILY IN Western Australia [8000km round trip] no east coast hay available as yet.
We need to cover transport costs as the subsides only cover about 1/3 of the amount.
AS I SAID THESE GUYS ARE HARD WORKING, PROUD PEOPLE, NOT VERY GOOD AT ASKING, FOR HELP.
I m just another farmer who cares, when people are struggling in times of need.
Many ewes are lambing now and some are just walking away from their babies, leaving them for the crows to feed upon. These are some of the luckiest lambies around, pet lambs saved by exhausted farmers out near Come by Chance. photos to be added when figure out how to....
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD AND SUPPORT THESE GUYS, ITS NOT A QUICK FIX. Even if they got decent rain now , its not a quick fix.
Help a farming family with some $. our food comes from these areas, we don't want them to sell up to overseas companies , sadly this has already happened. Also from my personal experience over the last two months helping . these guys its impossible to access already donated funds. Where has all this millions gone to ? Also the suicide rate has gone crazy in farmer area, people pushed to the limits emotionally and NOT feeling heard. its so sad.

A road train of donated hay is on the way back from WA where the Roberston family from Ord River Hay Kununurra have donated 230 round bales of good quality hay. The kindness showed by total strangers is incredible and also Ord River coop donating fuel to fill the trunk on its return leg back to Come by Chance . We are still trying to cover the transport cost. Had many computer issues I need a teenager and don't do face book so please network this out to all your friends. They have missed out on most of the rain only receiving about 15mls where other places got follow up rain . Come by Chance has only had about 15ml. they need so much more as bare dirt. Thank you for any help or suggestions
