In and out of hospitals for an entire year, Tom will be given a chance for renewed life next month, thanks to an innovative new cancer treatment, in Burghausen Germany. On December 12, Tom will undergo a unique cancer treatment–Regional Chemotherapy– in what medical intervention expert, Dr. Raymond Rupert- calls incredible and impactful. Our family calls it a lifesaving measure.
Diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer last year, Tom’s prognosis was grim. For the last 12 months– with the support and commitment of our friends and community -he defied the odds and continues to fight for life.
By committing to his bi-weekly chemotherapy, and his wife Sharon's dedication to his rigorous nutrition and medication schedule, Tom’s cancer miraculously remained stable for 12 months. Yet now, Tom’s body has been ravaged by the toxic chemotherapy treatments, and despite its effectiveness, he is no longer able to tolerate further treatment offered in Canada. After consulting with Dr. Raymond Rupert, a medical case manager and patient advocate, our family was connected to the Medias Health Clinic in Germany. Tom will undergo a groundbreaking treatment, developed and provided by world renowned Oncologist, Professor Dr. Karl Aigner.
