I'll be participating at Ride the Reservoir cycling event which is a 75km race from Birmingham to Worchester and back on Sunday, 19th March 2017.
My goal is to raise money and support as much as I can the missionary work done by Emmaus Church in UK, Tanzania and Romania.
All the donations will go towards the projects detailed below:
Emmau Church is a registered charity in United Kingdom and a community of great people with a big heart for people and God.
Emmaus Church was my first point of contact when I relocated to Birmingham in 2013 and became my big family.
Alongside advancing the Christian faith, Emmaus Church is involved in bringing social justice by helping the needy, the lonely, the orphans, the poor, through projects like:
Youth Camp - a one week camping trip for the children from an ophanage in Romania.
Note: I am unable to name the orphange and share pictures from the camp due to the child/orphans protection act.
Tanzania - The Maasai Tribe Mission
In 2016 Emmaus Church started a missionary work among the Maasai Tribe in Tanzania. The mission is to build a building which will be used for church gathering, school and clinical activities.
The construction started in May 2016 and since then we have helped in digging a fountain to provide fresh water to the Maasai tribe.
They need as much support as possible to further develop the mission in providing education, health attention and fresh water.
