Adeng-Adeng Staff Family Houses

Northern Lombok including the Gili islands were struck by a strong earthquake the 5th of August 2018.

All our staff is from North Lombok and their family houses are gone. They are now living in refugee camps with their families.
Short term:
Their basic needs are covered for the moment, with lots of private donations and government help. (tents, food, water, medicines)
Medium term:
We are doing our best to get into normal business mode in Adeng-Adeng Bungalows, so salaries and such can be restored.
BUT, salaries and whatever profit we are making in Adeng-Adeng will not be enough to restore family houses in reasonable time, so we are asking for donations to get the families out of the camps and back in to normal life.
What we ask for is about 10.000.000 IDR/staff member (600 euro) and while that is far from getting a new house it is a start and a way out of the camp.
(Government has promised help with rebuilding, but we do not know what, how and when)
Long term:
The disaster got us thinking of ways to improve life in general for our staff. The area is very poor and even in the best conditions life is pretty hard for the families here.
Therefore another project, focused on shared ownership with our staff is planned for the future. (crowd funding, not donations). More info when we have immediate situation more under control.
All donated money will go to rebuilding the homes for our staff.
