Adam Needs Dental Work

Edit: Since I passed my initial conservative goal of $350 for just the extractions, (thank's Dick, Chan, Ken, and Michelle,) I've upped the goal to $1050 to hopefully also cover the cost of partial dentures as well.

Note: I didn't realize when I made the video that the minimum donation is $5, GoFundMe charges 2.9% + 30 cents for each donation, which would mean that if even you COULD donate $1, I would only get 67 cents from it, (which is probably why $5 is the minimum.)

I found myself googling how painful it is to pull your own teeth out, and plotting how I might go about doing so.

Hi my name is Adam, and I've never really had a smile I could be proud of. More than 15 years without consistent dental care has left be minus 4 teeth at the age of 29, soon to be minus 3 more.

I need help.


I need $154.95 to cover the cost of an Avia discount dental plan. With the Avia plan extractions will only cost $60. With the 3 extractions that I need, that brings the minimum cost to $334.95.  


I had a much loftier goal of $2000 when I started this campaign, and even that was a far cry short of the $8000 that the dentists quoted me. Since apparently chewing is a luxury, the least I can hope for is not to be in pain anymore. I've gone from about 6 ibuprofen a week, to 6-8 a day and occasionally sobbing in the corner.
