Adam Harrell Funeral and Widow

The outpouring of support has been tremendous for this campaign and we had a request to increase our goal. This generosity will help Mary rebuild her life and keep her household afloat. We, her family, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
Our Adam finally married his Mary this past August and two months ago they were able to buy a house. Adam fought his way through the most insidious of diseases: Addiction. He entered the Pathways for Change program, a model program and collaboration of the justice system, faith organizations, community groups where he excelled and served as a leader once completed.
But, Adam ultimately lost his battle on Saturday, Jan. 6.
With a beautiful and loving wife, engaging stepdaughter who adored him and the support of family and friends, we all thought Adam would be strong against temptation.
As they say, it only takes one bad day. One bad hit.
Adam and Mary scraped and saved to pay for their own wedding in August and to complete the closing on their house. They have already put in sweat equity and what little money they had left over into their dream of a future.
I am asking friends and family to donate whatever you can to help Mary and his parents, Donna and Butch Ball pay his funeral expenses.
Adam was working toward a job that offered benefits but time ran out so he had no insurance. I thank each and every one of you.
Our Adam was a big teddy bear of a man and he always thought he could save and protect others.  We love you, Bubba. Forever and always.
