Ava Pattschull kicks CANCER

On May 2 2019 We received the news that no parent wants to ever hear. Your daughter has cancer!!!
My sister Amber Pattschull and her husband Cody's oldest daughter Ava has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare bone cancer.
They will need to begin treatment immediately. Ava has already had x-rays, MRI, and a biopsy , and this just is beginning. The first step of many will be surgery that will be needed to place a port . This will be for Ava's chemotherapy to reduce the size of the tumor found in her leg. Which is making it very hard for Ava to walk and do a lot of the things she's used to doing.
In the wake of this diagnoses has not only caused a lot of heartache, tears and fear for the unknowns. But, the normal everyday life that still goes on.
Cody and Amber at this point are trying to maintain as much normalcy as possible so that Ava is not fearful of the future.
This diagnoses has come with many missed days at work for both Cody and Amber. The medical bills that are stacking up. That and the day-to-day with not only Ava but their daughter Zoey who wants to be with her big sister, her best friend. This is only the beginning of a very long road.
If we could all help ease the burden so they can focus on the today.
