March 2017 and the fourth surgery the Pokorski's need your help.   It was in January 2007,  engaged to be married in less than 8 months and the news was "I have a brain tumor. They say it's the size of a plum."   After an 8 hour surgery, 6 rounds radiation and chemotherapy, he was married  as planned.

Flash forward to November 2013, just after having his second child he received the news all over again.
For the past 3 years Jamie has been fighting the brain cancer battle. Not just with cancer. Not just a brain tumors. But all the side effects that come with it; short-term memory loss, word finding, depression, mood swings. In February 2016, and the third reoccurrence
while on chemotherapy, and a 3rd brain surgery, we received the diagnosis we had long been dreading. Jamie's anaplastic astrocytoma, reproducing at a rate of 85%. He tried a clinical trial and it was unsuccessful.
March 2017 another reoccurrence and this time in the back of the brain, another surgery, this time he has vision issues and is unable to work. We watch Jamie struggle every day trying to be the best version of himself, and trying to take care of his family.

His fight, is why we are asking for help. Because every father should be able to watch his children grow up. I want to see my husband coach pee-wee hockey, and argue with the referees from the sideline. I want him to be able to teach his children how to drive, talk to his son about the birds and the bees, and frighten off boys interested in his daughter. I want him to watch them proudly as they graduate from high school and college. I want him to be able to shake his son's hand, and wish him luck when he tells us of his grand adventures. I want him to be able to walk his beautiful daughter down the aisle.

"These may seem like small goals that most parents desire for their future. But the reality is, they would be a dream come true for a father living with a brain tumor diagnosis. So no matter the outcome, I will carry your heart in my heart. I will learn to love more for both of us, I will be strong, I will work hard and I will carry you with me everywhere I go, every day, for as long as I live."

"Jamie Pokorski I have loved you more than anyone else on earth." Stacy Pokorski

We appreciate anything you can do to help the Pokorski family. Your help will go a long way to pay for all the co-pays and surgery deductibles in order for them to remain in their home and be a family. Thank you.
