HOW THE FUNDS WILL BE USED:
I'd like to breakdown the amount a bit. I'll try to keep these in bullet point format.
- Individual copyright of songs: $35 / song (receipt of funding or not will be the big factor in whether I'll be able to copyright songs individually. If I cannot get proper funding I'll have to copyright the CD as a whole. I won't go into details as to why each song should be copyrighted individually here). 15 songs at $35 each comes to $525 total.
- CD registration: $90 through CDBaby.com
- CD duplication: roughly $740 for 300 CD prints of album 2.
- Website registration: $30 / mo
- Fast internet connection (for live streams, website management, YouTube video uploads, etc): $60 / mo
- Mailers to radio stations: $60
- Additional features, etc would be nice, but I'm trying to keep it all reasonable. It would be nice to print out about a hundred of the first album to sell as well. If I were to do that it would cost approximately $300. But, that's just an added bonus. I'm not even considering the cost of advertising here. Whew! That part can get rough and isn't always a steady cost. It can fluctuate a lot.
SO, grand total comes to about $1505 (minus the $300 anticipated album 1 duplication costs).

WHO WILL BENEFIT:
Enough with money talk and what that money can do. This campaign will obviously be of benefit to me, but I eventually want to do this full time and LIVE stream my music writing to the world. This could be beneficial to others who aspire to become musicians. I also desperately want to be able to donate what I can to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, but that's going to require me to be able to sell this album. So, I need a product to sell.
HOW SOON ARE FUNDS NEEDED:
Unfortunately due to self-imposed deadlines I'm going to need the funding rather quickly (by the end of October 2017). The album needs to be released no later than the middle of November 2017.
WHAT SUPPORT WILL MEAN TO ME:
Your support will help me to release this second album without impacting my normal life and checkbook. Let's face it we're not all filthy rich and can afford the extras here and there. I cannot afford to release this album without impacting the way of life my wife and I have grown accustomed to. We have our burdens just like everyone else. It would mean so much to me to be able to fund this album and push it as hard as I can!!!
