The ACLD (All Children Learn Differently) School is located in Youngstown, Ohio. The ACLD School is a private, non-profit school. The school provides a high quality education to children with a variety of disabilities.
The ACLD is funded on scholarships, grants and donations. The monies raised during this campaign will directly support the Martial Arts Program at the school. The students receive weekly group Karate instruction by a certified provider from ATA Black Belt Academy. Research suggests that there are physical, emotional and social benefits in utilizing Karate with children. The classes provide the students with the opportunity to learn and practice self-control skills and increase self-esteem.
The Karate program that our students participate in promotes gross and fine motor skills. Students develop leadership skills and build confidence in their abilities. This cooperative, physical education program is motivating and helps students improve learning skills.
We appreciate a donation of any size to support our ongoing efforts in providing Martial Arts programs to our students.
