Mia Hart; Mary Horstman
Mary Horstman aka Mia Hart was riding her motorcycle home from the International Serenity Run on August 5 2012 when she suffered several strokes which caused her to crash. She is severely injured with both wrists broken, ankle shattered several broken ribs, a bruised spinal cord contunsion, broken shoulder and blind with sever memory issues due to her strokes.
She is at St Francis Specialty Care in Colorado Springs Colorado and her sister Kathy Esposito is standing vigil along side her every step of the the way. Both Mia and Kathy live in Arizona so there is a serious financial need.
Our primary goal at this time is to be able to get Kathy home with her bike which needs to be trailered and to get Mia's Cobra payment made which is due September 1st, as well as Mia's other bills. We also need to transport Mia back to Phoenix. All of these costs combined will be between $4000 and $5000.
Mia will be in Colorado Springs in the specialty care for about another 20 days. Please we need every one's support...$5, $10, $25, $50 or $100 donations will be greatly appreciated.
