Academic Conference in Budapest

Hello, 
My name is Elizabeth Strange and I am asking for donations to fund  my trip to Budapest, Hungary to present at the 'Power of Public Law in the 21st Century' conference, hosted by The International Society of Public Law (ICON-S) and Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) Faculty of Law. 

The description of the conference states:
'This Conference will convene a group of scholars to reflect on the current challenges and trends present in Public Law from the perspective of Constitutional Law, International Law, European Law, Administrative Law and Legal Theory.'
In January 2018, I submitted an abstract to the conference conveners for my paper entitled 'The Vote Heard 'Round the World: Referendums and International Legal Personality'. On 31 January 2018, I received an invitation to present at the conference, to be held on 20 April 2018. 

I recently completed my LLM in International Human Rights and International Criminal Law from Bangor University, Wales. I also hold a LLB from Bangor University and a BA in Human Rights and Women's Studies from St. Thomas University, Canada. Throughout my studies, I have received awards and commendations for my academic excellence, while actively participating in volunteering endeavours and extracurricular activites. I have attended academic conferences, assisted in hosting academic conferences, and presented at conferences at Bangor University. This opportunity at ELTE will be my first chance to present externally from my academic institutions. Furthermore, the conference includes the opportunity for presented papers to be published, a major milestone for a young academic. 

The money raised will go towards flights, accomodation, and transportation in Budapest.

Accomodations (2-3 nights)-$250
Local transportation-$100
I have set my goal at $2000 to give me some buffer, as well as to compensate for the transaction fees associated with crowdfunding.
