Congregational Preschool Fundraiser

As we celebrate the 62nd year of continuous operation of Congregational Preschool, we have welcomed many new and returning children for the 2014-2015 school year. We are very proud to have been a resource for quality preschool education to Albuquerque families.  Congregational Preschool is still here, providing first steps away from home and into the world for the next generation of children.

Unfortunately, despite the now-recognized critical importance of quality early childhood programs, it has been reported that approximately 170 preschools have closed their doors statewide. Albuquerque families have fewer resources for quality preschool. Congregational Preschool is facing the same difficult financial challenges, but we are moving forward to meet them head on.  We have a new director, Kris Nolan, who was a teacher here at Congregational for many years, and who has brought great dedication, energy and focus to address our current challenges.  We have plans for program changes we believe will meet the needs of today’s families, all the while maintaining the excellent curriculum and approach that have made Congregational the special school it is.

2014-2015 is a rebuilding year for our school, and we are reaching out to our community for help. We hope that even with the passage of time, the Congregational Preschool community continues to recognize what a valuable resource it is, and that the community will support us with a financial gift.  We are particularly reaching out to those of you who are “graduates” of the program, hoping that you can be a part of supporting a new generation of Albuquerque children.

 We want to be one of the programs that stays open and grows in strength in spite of the financial challenges of today. All donations are tax-deductible.  A donation in any amount will be of significant help, and will be gratefully accepted.
