HELP ELAINE TOMLINSON FIGHT CANCER

PLEASE HELP US SUPPORT OUR BELOVED ELAINE TOMLINSON IN HER FIGHT AGAINST CANCER.

      Elaine means so much to so may people.  She is loved as a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother of 3, a grandmother, and a friend to countless many.  Elaine has always been a strong woman.  As a young girl she lifted bales of hay (exceeding her own weight) with her brothers on the family farm.  As an adult she faced a great tragedy when in 1979 her fiance was killed by a drunk driver.  Elaine brought up their daughter as a single mother until 1988 when she married Steven, her husband of 31 years.  She has worked hard all her life and now is in need of support.

       Elaine was diagnosed with stage 4, non-small cell lung cancer. The cancer was discovered in her lungs, stomach, throat, and lymph nodes.  She is currently undergoing chemotherapy.  All donations will help pay for continued testing and medical expenses.  Elaine recently began treatment in her fight against cancer.  Some days are more difficult than others, but she has mostly been in good spirits.  She has lost some energy but is thankful she hasn't lost her hair. 
        Elaine is a former teacher whose students affectionately named her "Cruella de Vil" due to her wonderful black and white hairstyle.  Friends know Elaine as a passionate Patriots fan, an avid hostess, a gardener, an animal lover, but most importantly as a warm, compassionate person who loves her family above all else.  Elaine is in her glory when she is brainstorming Christmas gifts for the family, hosting, Thanksgiving dinner and (entertaining at "barn parties.")  Ever the matriarch, her family has tried and failed to convince her to take it easy, she is sick after all.

        Despite the difficulties she faces, Elaine's friends and family know she will continue fighting, providing, and laughing as she always has.  Her illness will not stop her from pursuing passions and living life.
