My name is Paulette Cunningham and I'm running for Mayor of Eastover, SC (PC4EO ) in response to a petition from community members to do so. Our town is in need of fresh leadership with a vision for growth that invigorates our citizens and revitalizes the community.
Monies from this "Go Fund Me" campaign will be used Jan 2016 - Mar 2016 for:
* Campaign mail-outs
* Campaign yard signs
* Food & supplies for campaign meet & greet events
Running for an elected office takes money. We - I and campaign supporters - have already contributed hundreds of dollars to the campaign. I now ask for YOUR financial support.
Whatever you can give will be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. Many people have expressed a desire to help - this is an easy (and needed) way for you to do so.

More about me...
I was born and raised in Eastover, SC - the 14th of 16 children. Upon graduating from high school, I left my small hometown in order to expand my opportunities and become the most I could in life.
I moved to Washington, DC and obtained my Bachelors degree in Accounting from Howard University, worked as a computer programmer at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and was exposed to a wealth of experiences and knowledge from DC's international community.
After visiting home one Thanksgiving, I was saddened by a conversation I had with my younger relatives and felt an irresistable obligation to come home and contribute my knowledge, skills and experience toward the betterment of the young people at home.
So in 1998 I moved back to Eastover, became a certified Business Education teacher and earned my Masters degree in Education. I taught in the classroom for the next 10 years and served as afterschool project director for an additional 3 years.
In the community, I tutored at the library on Saturdays, coached the Pop Warner cheerleading sqad, volunteered as a GED instructor and served on the Eastover Park advisory board.
Presently, I work from home as a professional and management development trainer (Phenomenal Communications, LLC ) and primary caregiver for my mother who has Alzheimers.
My desire is to see the town of Eastover BLOSSOM and I am committed to leading the charge to make that happen!
