On May 15th, 2018 Cristina shared via Facebook " Getting ready at the hospital for the biggest day of my life tomorrow! May 16th is the day I go in for surgery and get a new liver! I'm thankful I have my amazing husband and family by my side to help me through this battle, so I can live and be a pain in your butt for the next 100 years! Love you amore Danny Jacinto"
With Danny and Cristina's blessing, Jerry Da Silva (Danny's best friend) and I Stefanie Da Silva along with Laureen Guerreiro (Cristina's Maid of Honour)are asking family and friends to come together to help Danny and Cristina with monthly and future health expenses.
As most of you know they recently had a beautiful wedding in June 2017 and then bought a place of their own. Danny has been the most wonderful, patient and loving husband who hasn't left Cristina's side since her Liver Donor Surgery in May. Danny is self-employed and nothing is more important to him then taking care of his family. Each day he is unable to work means money is not coming in. The days he go to work he leaves Cristina after being by her side several hours exhausted and always worrying if is she ok. In addition with self-employment there is no health coverage and medical expenses will continue for Cristina and she fights to get stronger every day. Our goal is to relieve Danny and Cristina of their financial burdens month-to-month so they can focus together on healing & getting stronger.
