Abbott Family Expenses

On Thursday, September 27, sixteen-year-old Kimberly visited Urgent Care to be treated for a persistent cough and flu-like symptoms.  That same evening, she was rushed to Children's Hospital in Denver after a very sudden diagnosis of leukemia.  She underwent extensive testing and began chemotherapy immediately.  She is currently in ICU being treated for pneumonia as well as continuing her chemo treatment.  Her family is facing sudden, unexpected expenses related to her illness and the battle she faces to beat it.  The doctors anticipate that Kim and her family will be in Denver for at least the next month as she undergoes aggressive chemotherapy and other treatments.
