Alcoholic Anonymous (AA) and Al-Anon (AFG) Speaker Tapes CDs Recordings Archives Project
I create archives of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon major events, so those who weren’t there can hear the great self-help speakers who come from all around the United States. The problem is paying for duplication and distribution as well as selling platform fees (eBay and Amazon fees.) I can’t continue to offer the CD bundles without some support. Please help me help others!
The purpose of this project is to manage a large collection of high quality recordings of AA and Al-Anon speakers from conventions around North America. All recordings are English language. Your donation will allow me to inventory new spindles, which creates a cost-effective way to sell the CD recordings.
The catalog includes about 70 recording made by myself, traveling around the US and Mexico for these events. I assumed all travel costs and up to this point all costs for duplication and fees for sales.
I’ve found people are interested in buying small bundles of the CDs, which makes the cost palatable, but requires me to support my inventory buy buying spindled product. This means I purchase the CDs with no packaging, just a pile of them on a spindle, then I purchase paper envelopes and create the bundles.
This is purely for AA and AFG recordings distribution. I’ve been involved with AA for over 25-years, and made these recordings over a 10-year span. These recordings are unique because they are high-quality. Most of the material being shared (there’s a lot) is of poor to mediocre quality, some recordings having been cassette-duplicated to death. My recordings are fully digital and have never been distributed by anyone but me. The quality is excellent.
