Aaron Rasheed  QUANTICO, VA
My Name is Aaron Rasheed and I'm in the United States Marine Corps. I am raising money to help bring awareness about a wrongful miss diagnoses of Child abuse. There are a lot of monsters out there that do abuse their children and in no shape or form will I support these people who do this. Unfortunately because of these sick monsters, innocent families get thrown into the mix and get label as abusers.
Shaken Baby syndrome is a diagnoses that has been overly diagnosed onto to innocent families over the years watch this link to understand why https://youtu.be/SUv9a9Mn5gI. By no means am I attempting to say people don’t shake babies. I fully recognize that there are monsters out there that shake babies, but the symptoms used to diagnose SBS are very controversial and with new research available, there is evidence that we need better guidelines for a diagnoses.
Groups that are leading the way in helping innocent people, are groups such as http://law.wisc.edu/fjr/clinicals/ip/ and http://www.familydefensecenter.net/ keep in mind, my project is completely independent from these groups and in no shape or form are they endorsing my project although I have acquired educational resources from each of these groups and have been inspired through contact. Each of these groups are great educational resources and I encourage everyone to research them on their own.
One documentary that came out and should be available for purchase sometime late spring is “The Syndrome.” Check it out at http://www.resetfilms.com/ .This is an important film that need to reach the public to help spread awareness. With the funds I raise, I’m going rent out locations DC, Virginia, and Maryland area. At this point I do have the networking ability to bring the film in the area, I just need to raise the money for location and technical equipment to premiere it.
Also with the funds, I want to use it to help families [innocent ones only] by making sure the resources are available to find the specialized experts needed in child abuse cases. Through proper assessments, I believe we can be a little more precise in child abuse cases and avoid wasting tax payer money that has been convicting innocent people to prison.
The reason I got involved in this matter is because it has personally deeply affected my family’s life as well with other families in the area. With all the help I received, I want to give back to the community in this way. I can’t thank anyone enough who donates or even just get involved. I strongly encourage anyone who is or has been falsely accused to reach out. Also, if anyone you know is needing educational resources to assist them in false claims of child abuse, please have them visit my [Medical Witch Hunt] page on facebook, this page is dedicated to supplying free resources for innocent families in need of help. Thankyou!

Once again, none of the groups I mentioned are affiliated with my project, nor is the United States Marine Corps affiliated with my project.

My family has been deeply affected by a misdiagnosis as well, and I appreciate and support all efforts being made to raise awareness as to the complexity and lack of scientific proof behind a diagnosis so quickly and easily thrown around by physicians and law enforcement. Thank you.
