AAMB Trip to Ireland for Vik

Donation protected
Hello all!
I am Viktor 'Vik' Phelps, a trombonist in the AAMB! Some back home call me Ruth, though, and I study Plant Science here at Purdue, and was so fortunate to be able to march for my sophomore year with the Purdue All- American Marching Band. I am an Alumnus of Batavia High School (2016) and their Bulldog Band, and a proud Buckeye- turned- Boilermaker!
That's me (right), with my trombone Big, Clayton (left).

Although I wish I had the funds to go on my own with them to Ireland, money is tight due to school, loans, and the like. I just took out a massive loan to finance my sophomore year here, so being able to go with my Band Brothers and Sisters was a longshot, but I am determined to not miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity.
At first I was unsure of if I should sign up to go, as I will not have any family support in paying for the trip, and it will be through all on my own in working side jobs on top of school, and through the generousity of people like you all.
To be a part of this wonderful marching band is a blessing, and to be able to participate in a trip with them considering the vibrant history of Purdue Bands would mean worlds to me, and help truly encapsulate my experience here as a Boilermaker, as after this season, and due to my number of credits, I will only have one more season to be able to try out and hopefully march with Purdue again.
Ever since I was little I looked up to the Big Ten Marching Bands, so to be able to march with Purdue not once, but twice, and to hopefully also march with them on an international trip would cement the dream I have had since youth in being an actual Bandsman, and through determination, hard work, and the other qualities that makes a Boilermaker, hopefully I will be able to achieve this goal, but I cannot do it all on my own.
I need the help of others for this one, and it would ultimately be up to those who chose to donate to see if I will be able to march with the band in Ireland or not. I will be extremely grateful to all involved, and write thank you cards and post cards to all who were able to get me there!

So please, help me get to Ireland by donating!

Some more about the trip-
In March of 2018, Purdue will be traveling to Ireland to march in the Dublin St. Patrick's Day Parade, and the bands will be departing on the 11th, and return to the states on the 18th. We will be marching with the University of Illinois Marching Illini, so Big Ten Band Brothers in arms together will visit Ireland and embark on not only a musically fruitful trip, but also have an experience of the English Isle to remember, involving sightseeing stops in Limerick and Cork. The money of $2,500 is a minimum, as I will be paying for the remainder of the trip myself.
This is because the rest of the costs are unclear as to what they will be set as of yet.
It includes airfare and board, as well as some food expenses and the sightseeing opportunities.
So please! Help me get to Ireland with the AAMB!
