Help Aadaan's Grant Program!
What began as a monthly publication is now evolving into something bigger and we would love for you to be a part of it!
We will continue to share stories through our blog platform while also providing microgrants to support humanitarian work.
To help launch this program, we are asking friends and family to contribute financially to help get our microgrant program up and running.
Aadaan collaborates with individuals, groups, and community-based organizations from around the world who are driven by change. Our aim is to promote inclusion by connecting individuals from various disciplines on a global scale.
In an effort to be transparent, below you will find what these funds will be allocated toward:
*Grant 1: $350 USD
Maternal Health Micro Grant
A nurse, midwife, or doula, working at the community level, will be awarded a $350 USD grant to help combat the U.S. maternal health crisis (racial or socioeconomic disparities, lack of insurance, over-medicalization, etc.). Grantees will be asked to share their accomplishments through this grant on Aadaan.com.
There will be no fee for the participants to apply. For that reason, it is really important that we get enough funding from contributors like you to sustain this grant.
*Grant 2: $200 USD
Street Art Micro Grant
This $200 USD grant (approximately 14,000 INR) will support a street art mural project happening within a community in India.
Like the Maternal Health Grant, there will be no fee for the participants to apply.
More information about the two grants can be found at: https://www.aadaan.com/grants/
*Website startup $300
*Cost to legally register our company as a Non-Profit $125
*Miscellaneous $25
